Adding the Noticeable app to a private Discord channel
Noticeable integrates with Discord so you can announce publications directly in your channels.
Setting up the integration is simple. First, open your project in the Noticeable dashboard. Then, click "Integrations" in the left navigation. Under the Discord section, click "Setup" and follow the instructions displayed on the screen.
By default, the Noticeable app has permission to publish in public channels on your Discord server. If you want to post in private channels, you need to manually add the Noticeable app as a member of each private channel to grant it publishing rights. Here are the steps:
- Install the Noticeable app on your Discord server as explained above.
- Open Discord and select the private channel where you want Noticeable to publish announcements:
- Click "Add members or roles" and pick "Noticeable [APP]":
- That’s it! Repeat the process for any other private channels if needed.
